Incompatible with firewalls January 5, 2008 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is not a review of the product but a review of trying to install it. Don't even think of buying this if you want to use either zone alarm or comodo free personal firewalls as they are incompatible. The installation will tell you that it is incompatible with comodo but you will have a learning experience if you have zone alarm. So it looks like they pretty much force anyone who wants a firewall to buy their security suite.
Excellent investment December 1, 2007 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I replaced Norton with Kaspersky Anti Virus 7 three weeks ago. The improvement that I noticed immediately was in the much improved boot-up time, and general all-round increase in speed in my PC system running Windows XP. It was surprisingly easy to install, and runs unobtrusively in the background. We have three networked PCs in the house, and it immediately picked up malware on one of the PCs that the previous software had missed.
I was worried about installing Kaspersky, as I have had Norton for some years, but have nothing but praise for Kaspersky Ant-Virus 7. It is also much less expensive than alternative products. Excellent technical support.
Good Efficent Protection August 23, 2007 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
Previously have used McAfee, Norton and having upgraded to Vista, have been using Microsoft's own Live One Care that we down loaded until a subscription was required. Kaspersky was easy to install and found over 8 problems and killed them which Live One missed or was unable to quarantine / kill. Also no annoying adverts that always come up on Mcafee and Norton plus cheaper.
Now running on two laptops vista home & XP plus a desktop vista home. All we needed was Anti-Virus as windows provide an efficient fire wall.
