4 out of 5 stars very useful got me a pass first time on my theory test   September 1, 2008
this and the cd-rom was very useful, I was able to read this on the train and do the tests on the cd-rom when I got home.

5 out of 5 stars very useful got me a pass first time on my theory test   September 1, 2008
recommended, have been driving for 17 years and just decided to learn to ride a bike, so my theory was the first thing I needed to pass and with the use of this CD-Rom I was able to do several dry runs of the test.

I read this from cover to cover and I got 100% in my bike theory test - nuff said!

5 out of 5 stars Definitely worth it even if you think you know it all already   July 1, 2008
Anyone like me who's held a full car license for several years should already know most of the answers to the questions that aren't bike specific, but where this product comes into its own is in helping you to become familiar with the format of the exam (it exactly matches the test you end up taking at the test centre) and getting a chance to brush up on the bike-related questions (bike safety, maintenance, specific rules of the road and the like).

If you practice on these questions, you will recognise them come up again *verbatim* in the real test - I found this useful because I remembered where I'd made a couple of daft mistakes at home when the same question came up in the test.

Contrary to what another review said, I had no issues with installing and running this software on Vista, though admittedly that review is several months older and the software may have been tweaked since then.

1 out of 5 stars Not vista compatible!   February 20, 2008

I have just got off the phone to technical support and have been informed that the error message I get when launching the application is because I'm running on windows vista with a sony cdrom drive. DSA are aware of the issue, the and it will be resolved with the latest version of the CD. Unfortunately it's expected release date is the end of March 2008!
I was assured it only affects 1% of all Vista users.

So for now I'll have to stick to the paperback highway code
