avoid at all costs May 30, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Avoid this software if you have a portable media device you want to watch movies on, not just because it wont convert protected movies but it has difficulty with unprotected ones as well. It is difficult to use, slow and the online tutorials are difficult to follow
DO NOT BUY!!!!! April 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
okay i bought this product thinking "yes i have finally got a converter that works well" i was completely wrong. for one thing i couldnt even install the thing because there was error after error and it always had some kind of flaw so please please please do not buy this product it is the worst converter ever so please dont waste your money on this!
Just don't buy it!!!!!! April 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very slow to install, worst interface I've ever seen, no manual and if you want it for a specific job check the small print first. Total waste of money, feeling like a sucker!! Still it was only 20 quid so I'll get over it.

I need to improve the ratings of this piece of software because it's actually very good. I accept that the documentation is weak, but if a little time is taken to research the product on the internet you will find plenty of the answers regarding navigation of the interface and tips on usage. Yes, I know you shouldn't have to do this but its 15 software and it punches well above its weight with products costing 3 times as much. If you own and Archos player get this to store your DVD's in DivX. If you own a pod then the conversion of audio and video is very impressive. It has handled everything I've thrown at it and I would thoroughly recommend it. Give it a chance
Waste of time and money March 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have only installed under Vista but even so, I cannot figure it out. It seems to understand Divx files but nothing else. You can forget Avi and mpeg files (It does not even acknowledge that they exist). For what this software proports to do can be achieved using Vista's own built in utilities or by downloading a few bits of freeware. Ashampoo springs to mind. Most people want to make backups of thier legally purchased DVD's. This will not do it! The only software that comes close is ANYDVD but does not seem to be available in the UK. Stand by Amazon its coming back to you!
