1 out of 5 stars Aquazone CPU - stay away   September 25, 2006

The animation appears to be cell animation not sprites from 3D models. The fish, while you can have many selected, really bog down the system resources and make the movements jerky and not at all as good as the competitors very smooth and sophisticated animation. This is nice for looking at pictures of a few flat fish being moved around colorful backgrounds, but does not at all convey the feeling of real fish swimming.

4 out of 5 stars Simply Beautiful   June 12, 2006
This has been keeping me busy for quite some time. I love to watch the shark eat the sardines and other fish that I give him.
The ocean life is so realistic, even my friends are amazed with it. The only downsides are:
1. You can't have background music.
2. You have to pay for upgrades and add-ons.

But overall, it's pure entertainment.

4 out of 5 stars It's clever and very simple but...   January 6, 2006

This is very good I must say. You get a number of 40 species of fish including twenty tanks to put them in. The fish are life like more than the leading competitive software. You can interact with the fish by tapping the glass of the aquarium, which I must say is pretty realistic. Also this software has a zoom feature, which allows you to zoom into a fish and follow it's where about. Would be the best but there are two flaws to this software. Flaw number 1: This software is absolutely useless with any other graphics card other than ATI or N-VIDIA. Flaw number 2: Unlike PC Aquarium with this software disappointingly it does not have the mp3 feature, which allows background music. Other than these two flops this is very good. I guarantee if you have a decent graphics card this is sure to be the best 3-D Aquarium screensaver to exist!
