 What a let down!! May 19, 2002

A real waste of money, Although I purchased this is Jan 2002 the program is now out of date with a whole section dedicated to Francs. My 7 and 4 year old with a thirst for knowledge were just not interested.

This CD was not a big hit with my 6 and 4 year olds. Although the on screen instructions and manual were very clear the lack of a help function on each page meant constantly coming out of a page back to the menu and forwards again which frustrated all of us. The amount of mouse control needed to obtain a single word was a tedious up and down the page constantly. As a very basic starter its OK --the main bonus being able to record themselves. I would have thought that it could have been made much more exciting with a wider vocabulary such as colours or food words. My children have decided that Mums absolute beginners CD is much more fun. Oh dear!
