Amazon.co.uk In the Adiboo Choo Countryside Adventure CD-ROM the cheerful alien invites young children to jump aboard the Boocopter, his colourful flying house, to fly them to the countryside for interactive fun. Travel with Adiboo Choo and his friends to visit the Guessing Barn where you click on animals to hear the noises they make and guess what they are. In addition to teaching skills such as recognising sounds, Adiboo Choo Countryside Adventure also encourages children to show consideration for others. There's a game in which you help a lost little rabbit find its mother by clicking and dragging with the mouse. Huge red cartoon-like hearts appear in the sky when they are both successfully reunited. If they tire of being in the countryside, children can explore Adiboo Choo's magical house. Simple clicking triggers off all kinds of entertaining learning activities--a click on the rocking horse starts a cowboy game and you have to fetch a hat for Adiboo Choo. And when they go into the toy box in the corner of the room, children can hear well-sung nursery rhymes and learn the actions that go with them. Adiboo Choo Countryside Adventure is a well-structured and entertaining CD-ROM for children aged 2 to 4 and has been developed in collaboration with nursery school teachers to ensure basic skills are taught. Some parental supervision is required but parents are likely to enjoy themselves as well. Also available: Adiboo Choo Seaside Adventure. --Justin Hunt

Fantastic! February 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My little one started playing on this at 18 months old. She is now nearly 3 and has the most incredible mouse control and loves playing on this. She is able to understand all the directions given by the characters and can find her own way around all the different parts and games. This is just an amazing, fun and educational introduction into using computers and teaching mouse control. I was recommended it and can also fully recommend it to others!
FANTASTIC PRODUCT - Truly Kid Friendly October 16, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wonderful piece of software truly kid friendly and clearly designed with kids in mind as opposed to by an adult / team of developers, instant interaction, no waiting around for stuff to happen which so often leads to boredom and lack of interest with kids
My daughter 3 and son 4 picked this up in moments, and their first piece of computer software, kept them glued to the screen for hours, with very little help required from me, was actually great watching them from a distance actually solving puzzles together, only concern maybe the tantrums when you need the pc yourself or decide enoughs enough for the day
The graphics sound and animations are superb, the product remains challenging and yet is able to encourage development and reward success, without becoming frustating to use, and raises the levels to match your own childs ability via a clever age interface, where your child creates their own unique character at the start, and enters their date of birth (may require adult help), around which the content level is generated for them
Very friendly and simplistic user interface makes it so much easier for small hands and minds to come to grip with
would recomend this to anyone, and whilst the other titles in the range may be very similar activity wise I am guessing the themes will still help to encourage and keep my own kids attention and I will certainly be adding them to their increasing collection
Problem with windows ME??? November 17, 2001 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I have run this programme on windows 95 excellant programme easy to follow with bright colourful graphics to help keep tots interested. However I was unable to install properly on windows ME though box says it is possible - just consider this if you run ME. otherwise brilliant software for preschool/reception children.
