Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.co.uk Review
Reader Rabbit Toddler is part of a curriculum-based system that is designed to keep children learning all through their elementary school years. Simple, brightly coloured graphics and classic sing-along songs make all these activities a sure hit with toddlers.

This pack gets kids off to a great start with an introduction to letters and numbers, matching and patterns, music and mouse skills. In "Follow-Me Theatre", children take a physically active role with finger plays and singing along, while in "Baby Animal Bingo", sounds are matched to help parent animals find their babies. The characters of Reader Rabbit and his sidekick Matt the Mouse are funny and friendly--and always ready to help if your child needs a hint.

Because these characters are in every unit--all the way to sixth grade--and the basic format for each level is similar, children can dive right in to the new curriculum skills without the distraction of different graphic styles or character guides.

You will see quickly why this series is so often used in schools, and we are sure your toddler will love it as much as her future teachers already do. --Jill Lightner

5 out of 5 stars superb!   November 9, 2003

This is so much better than most of the other packages available for young children. No mouse clicks are required (although they can be used as your child's computer skills improve): just moving the mouse over an object produces the result within a couple of seconds, which our 3-year-old loves! The graphics and sounds/music are beautifully produced, and we all appreciate the absence of american voices.

We've bought a few CD-ROMs for our son Stanley (2years), and this one is the best by a LONG way. The quality of the music, animations and voices is superb. There are loads of really cool little songs and nothing grates as being naff (which sadly dogs all others we've seen), plus it is a UK version (no American accents!) Overall this software is COOL.

5 out of 5 stars Introduce your toddler to the computer   November 5, 2000

Reader Rabbit Toddler is an excellent piece of software. Children learn about colour, shape, number and the alphabet alongside learning mouse skills. The mouse responds satisfyingly quickly as the toddler moves it around. Our daughter particularly enjoyed colouring in with the mouse. When the picture is 75% coloured by the child it automatically completes itself. I still feel there are many facets of this software to be explored and it will provide quality educational entertainment for months to come.
