Excellent educational programme, and fun January 28, 2008

Really pleased with this programme. Our 8 year old loves it. Just one note of caution though; as this is an American programme the notation refers to "quarter notes" etc. and not "crotchets and quavers", but this will not prove a problem I am sure.

Music Ace is a really well designed music learning software, designed in the sense of overall experience. Me and my children (2 +6) really like the lessons and the games also for people with some musical experience it will not get boring, sometimes you even need to practice... Works very well on a G4 mac with a usb keyboard (you don't actually need the keyboard, but it helps a lot),and gives a sound basic of music theory.
