4 out of 5 stars A program that works!   August 14, 2007

A program that works - properly! For copying of old records and tapes using Windows XP, a simple program, easy to use, useful tools and no complicated menus. Does not go into limbo when burning discs, unlike some DVD programs that I have used. Only thing lacking is the ability to monitor source on the computer whilst recording. To do this you have to monitor through the playing source, e.g. with an adaptor and headphones. A bargain at the price.

4 out of 5 stars Simple and very handy   January 28, 2007

If you've got loads of vinyl LPs that only have one decent track on them, then this software is just about the cheapest and most straightforward way to transfer all the good tracks onto a CD or convert them to MP3s. You can then sell the LPs! Basically, if you have a device that has line outs then you can make a CD or MP3 from it. This opens up lots of possiblities - put old cassette portastudio tracks onto CD for the first time, put Jools Hollands Hootenany on your MP3 player, archive old workstation synth performances direct to CD etc. The fact that once you've added your audio to your computer and remove hiss and crackles is merely a bonus. Buy it. You will find a use for it.
