have installed this product om my laptop it seems to be fine, there is only to problems i have found so far and that is 1. it takes ages to render so i turned off render in background and it seems fine now.2 magic bullet doas not work it says i need to update graphics card have done this and still it will not work maybe i need a new graphice card?.
i have burnt a 15 min disc to see what it was like and it aint bad.
anything you have purchased for pinnale 11 will import into 12 easy.now is it worth upgrading to 12 from 11 if your happy with 11 why upgrade ,but having been a fan of pinnalce since stuido 8 , 9 11.yes i did upgrade , will need to upgrade graphics card but might have a new pc built just for pinnalce.
if i was to give a score out of 10 pinnacle 12 would come in at 8 due to the lenght of time time it takes to render. but that might down to my laptop......karl

1 out of 5 stars Pinnacle - Don't Bother!   June 26, 2008

Having purchased this product and having problems with fuctionality, I tried contacting Pinnacle through their website and received inappropriate responses that could have been "automated" replies or the result of lazy employees. I eventually contacted Pinnacle in the USA and they referred me back to the useless website and to non functioning UK telephone numbers. After you buy this product, they (Pinnacle), seemingly cut themselves off from their customers by only being contactable by a single, expensive PREMIUM RATE telephone number. After 3 days, I have to give up! It could be said that it is my own fault in so much that Studio 11 was also not value for money as it repeatedly crashed resulting in the loss of my work many times.

I have not found anything better than Sony Vegas for reliability and value for money. It's also cheaper than Pinnacle on Amazon with as good a customer service from Sony as you could hope for. After using Sony Vegas for a while, you will be learning how a professional editing package should work. After a while, you may want to consider moving up to the "Pro" version. Had I have not been made aware of Sony Vegas, I would have given up trying to edit my own videos. Caveat Emptor* (*Buyer beware)
