I bought this version for the pre-amp as I thought my old setup would not be as good. It doesn't work. You can't lower the volume in the mixer (Vista) window. If you have Vista and Conexant sound card -beware.
Magix don't even read your e-mails properly.
It works using headphone out socket of amplifier but puts a distorted channel in the background.

really good to use and grate for er doing 45lps on to CD just take your time and you can get sum good sound like new my dad used it and hes 74 and no PC wizard a tip look round for a good u s b turn table they sum relay cheep one that aer good this CD is really good you get the sound to your liking
