 Rubbish - don't buy June 19, 2007
I got this software out of curiosity really. It promises much but delivers very little. I have tried to register the software several times to get an unlock code and the company have never responded. A total waste of money as until unlocked you can only use a practice database. - Amazon should withdraw this from it's catalogue as it is breaking the sale of goods act - it does not do what it says!!!! KEEP WELL AWAY

This is probably the worst piece of software I have ever used. Difficult to use and update, full of bugs, and it creates really ugly pages. Not user friendly and the pages it creates will not impress your customers. Take my advice and spend a little extra and buy NetObjects Fusion 8 which is a far far superior item with excellent features, and very easy to use.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY this software! I bought it with the idea of taking my products online, the program is riddled with errors and the updates and upgrades are considerable, and then there is a little bit of DIY on your PC installed software to upgrade it. It simply isn't worth the hassle and the finished result looks un professional.Also one of the errors is that the sign is displayed as ? mark and so is other symbols. Since the makers would have known of the errors, why release it? Just don't buy it! Trust me.

I bought this with the intention of setting up an ecommerce site for a small business. It was impossible to use and needed all kinds of upgrades and passwords, etc. etc. I finally gave up and bought Web Easy Pro V.5. It gave me much more freedom and was easy to use plus there is an online support system that answers almost all the common questions/problems you're likely to encounter. Don't buy this. It's not worth the aggravation.

I couldn't imagine an easier software product to use. I just filled in the information about my products and hit publish. The thing worked flawlessly. I don't have a lot of patience for messing about with server configuration and DNS stuff, and I didn't have to.Ocassionally I can get it to crash, but then so does Windows. I wouldn't say that's a big deal. I just shut it down (the software not my PC) and restart. I've been using the software for over a year and it seems to be more stable with each update - which can be done automatically in the software. I think they're up to version 1.2 now. I really like the fact that it sends a text message to me on my mobile phone when I get an order. I looked at the Actinic product because I heard great things about it, but it didn't seem to have this feature, and it was a lot more money. My only complaint is that I wish it had more templates, but I managed to get around that by editing my store in MS Word. I'm not a genius, but the results were still quite pleasing. You can't really go wrong here.
