| Customer Reviews:
Do not upgrade with this product August 7, 2008 Like the others I purchased this upgrade as I only needed dreamweaver and I had Studio MX 2004. After three hours trying to get it to install and three phone calls to Adobe I found that I could not use this upgrade path. So I am stuck with a useless bit of software. Having spent a small fortune on their software and received lousy service I will be looking to change if and when it is possible.
Beware of Activation April 14, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
If you read above on the Amazon site it says you can upgrade from Studio 8. I actually bought my copy of Dreamwever CS3 (upgrade) in the USA to save money and assumed that although the requirements were to have Dreamweaver 8 or MX I would be fine as it was part of Studio 8. Turns out this isn't true and Studio 8 doesn't count at all if you are upgrading a single component. I am now stuck with a copy of this software as I threw away the box when I came back to the states to reduce luggage. I have to buy the web design creative suite cs3 to get the upgrade at triple the cost, and double what it is in the USA.
Adobe, I love your products but as management you suck and alienate your users whom provide your bread and butter.
Same again October 6, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I wished I had seen this before I purchased, as the same thing has happened to me. Adobe don't want you as a customer if you were loyal to Macromedia. Never buy Adobe products as they are an arrogant organisation who think they can abuse the customers because they have the 'best' products.
Customer Service is terrible June 18, 2007 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
Be very careful before purchasing as the customer service provided by Adobe is terrible. We followed a legitimate upgrade path with Dreamweaver but have now been told that we cannot install the latest upgrade we purchased as they no longer recognise the serial number we were first issued with on the full product. Going round in circles with them and now being forced to buy the full product again after paying for upgrades for 7 years. We run fully legit software and have all the upgrade disks and the original full product disc. Be Careful!!!!!!
