4 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin   November 24, 2008
I know very little about computers and software and hardware and ya-dah-ya-dah, so if you're looking for something which does what it says it will do... this is a good place to look.

5 out of 5 stars Bullguard used for 5 years   November 13, 2008

I have used bullguard for the past 5 years under both windows XP and Vista in that time I have found it to be a excellent, easy to use product that works very well and the bullguard support is free, efficient and prompt.
I buy my renewals here on Amazon as for some reason Bullguard charge full price at the renewal (44 per year or 68 for 2 years) and my licence runs out in 18 days.
In conclusion if you are looking for a excellent easy to use effective product look no further, you wont regret it.

4 out of 5 stars Good   October 24, 2008
Very easy to use and doesn't keep annoying you with messages like 'database needs to update' or 'database is updating' also easy to configure. Even a computer novice can easily set it to whatever level of security is required. Didn't use online backup drive but it is a nice touch. Would recommend turning the bullguard firewall off and just using windows firewall as it is more user friendly and will already be configured to allow you programs to work.

5 out of 5 stars A very professional internet security package, very easy to use.   October 18, 2008
Here is a very professional internet security suite with lots of features that is very easy to use. It has all the features that you would expect in a internet securty suite.

*Anti-Virus
*Firewall
*Anti-Spam
*Scanner

It takes like 5 minutes to install and doesnt intrude with your web browsing like previous anti virus programs i have tried over the years.

Good Stuff.

2 out of 5 stars Not Convinced   October 17, 2008
One of my main reasons for ordering this was that I was having virus problems on my Win XP laptop.
Install was fast and painless.
I had a few issues with the firewall, but nothing too painful.
Speed of the laptop was not adversely affected by the running software.
Virus scan found lots of problems but couldn't solve some of the fundamental problems I was experiencing.
In the end I uninstalled and loaded up the latest AVG virus scanner. Using this scanner I was able to resolve my problems, so the Bullguard let me down in this respect.
