It's amazing what technology can do these days (and sometimes what it can't do too). This clever bit of software strips the singer's vocals from CDs and then works like a karaoke machine letting you sing your own cover version over the music. It only seemed to work on about three quarters of the tracks we tried it on (it was brilliant on Robbie Williams, superb on Britney but it mangled the Sugababes - no harm done then!). But when it does work it's absolutely jaw dropping. We just sat there clicking the voice on and off for fun. It also will speed up or slow tracks down, change the pitch and add effects like reverb. If you like a particular performance that you've recorded you can save it as a file that you can burn to a CD.This is superb fun and amazingly clever. If you love to sing you will love this. It only missed out on 5 stars because it doesn't work on every CD.
